September 6-10, we hosted fourteen women on the Walt Disney World Vacation of a lifetime! They started the weekend with a 5-course Opening Night Dinner, complete with a visit from Minnie Mouse and private fireworks viewing, at California Grill located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Then they enjoyed an Official Walt Disney World VIP Tour, a day of park-hopping, and a community day of lounging by the pool at Coronado Springs, shopping, and dinner at The Boathouse in Disney Springs. On August 19th, just two days after our Five Year Anniversary, we were pleased to host our first ever local Funding Love Alumni Reunion! FIVE of our Atlanta Area Funding Love Families came together for pizza, bubbles, and free-play fun at Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia. Only two of the families had traveled to Walt Disney World together, so it was the first time that most of the families had met. It was so incredible to see them make connections and form a deeper community through their shared connection of having experienced a Funding Love Adoptive Family Vacation. We can’t wait to grow our Funding Love Alumni Reunion Program soon!

I am Funding Love Day 2023

On August 17th, to celebrate our 5th Anniversary of being a nonprofit organization FOR the adoption community, we hosted our first ever Virtual 5k! All over the country, donors, supporters, social media followers, and even some Funding Love Vacation Alumni ran a 5k in their local communities in honor of the adoption community. In just one day, we were able to raise over $6,000 for future Funding Love Families and Birth Moms.

We were proud to host our first ever Funding Love Fundraising Gala in 2023! It was a stunning night, hosted at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, where our donors and Guests of Honor enjoyed a cocktail hour, three-course dinner, silent and live auctions, and the opportunity to learn more about our mission and the programs we offer for adoptive families and birth moms. Through the course of the weekend, we raised a total of

$100,034!

This February, we hosted our BIGGEST Adoptive Family Vacation ever by sending SIX adoptive families on the vacation of a lifetime. This was also the first year that we added an offical Opening Night Event, featuring Mickey Mouse, and Community Day, a pool and shopping day in the middle of the trip!
