Vacation Liability Release

Funding Love Trip to Walt Disney World

I hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to attend and participate in a trip to Walt Disney World with Funding Love, a nonprofit organization that creates post-adoption experiences at Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. I understand that this trip is scheduled for September 4-8, 2024, of which I am a participant. “Participant” refers to anyone present at a Funding Love vacation or event, and includes staff, vendors, media representatives, sponsors, volunteers, and all attendees.

I understand that this trip involves certain risks and hazards, including but not limited to: travel by air, bus, car, boat, monorail, cabled gondola or other means; exposure to weather conditions, animals, insects, plants, or other natural elements; physical exertion, injury, illness, or infection; loss or damage of personal property; and other unforeseen circumstances. I assume full responsibility for any and all risks, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses that I may incur as a result of my participation in this trip.

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Funding Love, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners, affiliates, or any other persons or entities involved in the organization, planning, or execution of this trip, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that I may sustain or that my next of kin may sustain as a result of my participation in this trip, whether caused by the negligence of Funding Love or otherwise.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Funding Love from any and all losses, liabilities, damages, or costs that they may incur as a result of my participation in this trip, whether caused by the negligence of Funding Love or otherwise.

I understand that this release and waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the state of Florida, and that if any portion of this release and waiver is held invalid, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.

I have carefully read this release and waiver, and I fully understand its terms and conditions. I am aware that by signing this release and waiver, I am giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. I sign this release and waiver voluntarily and without any inducement or coercion.
