“The trip was in a simple word magical. It wasn’t just myself and three kiddos on a trip to Disney. It was a trip surrounded by love, acceptance, laughter, and finding our true selves. A disconnection from the outside world to grow and nurture bonds between myself and my children. To see the uncontrollable joy from riding a roller coaster with their siblings, having Mickey Mouse ice cream for breakfast for not just once, but probably more than this mama would like to confirm. Being able to have some deep conversations with each child as we walk to the next ride. To have the opportunity to let all of the daily rules go out the window and let us all stay up way pass our bedtimes while eating oh so much sugar. And oh those smiles, those innocent, mesmerizing smiles of awe of childlike anticipation for what is to happen next.

The trip was much more than 6 days in Orlando, days at the most Magical place on Earth. It was a trip that gave myself and my family opportunities and memories that I didn’t know we needed. It was a trip to gain new friendships, to gain new members to my tribe, to restore this tired mama’s hope to the beauty of what my family has and what is to come. I could never thank Funding Love and the individuals that made this trip available for my family enough. I am truly grateful for everything it has given us.”
